Welcome to Bob's Academy of Music where our qualified and certified music teachers offer lessons in most styles of music. If you wish to study music just for fun or to prepare for a college or university music program we offer it all from beginner to advanced for all age groups from children to adults and special needs students. Come in during office hours to register your time and start on your musical adventure.

Costs and Fees
$19.00 per half hour... Tax Exempt
Please call us before 2 pm if you will miss your lesson to be eligible for the waiting list for cancellation spots. Makeups are only made upon availability of a cancellation spot.
Royal Conservatory ofMusic
The curriculum from this 125 year old school of music is recognized by most Colleges and Universities in North America to meet their prerequisite for enrolment. They also count as 2 high school credits. At Bob's we offer RCM lessons in guitar, piano, percussion, violin and music theory. If you have questions concerning the RCM, give us a call. Our Music School Administrator is also the representative for the RCM for Pembroke.
Styles
We have teachers who specialize in most styles of music. If you have a favourite style let us know when you register so we can pair you with the teacher best suited for your goal.
Classical, Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Traditional, Metal, Spanish, Folk.
Young Beginner
All the studies are showing that children who study music become more intelligent. At Bob's we offer instruction for children six and under in percussion and ukulele. Watch for our new Mini Marchers program for ages 3-6 coming soon.
Children Students
Children can find their own musical voice by studying a vast range of musical styles and instruments. Most of our teachers teach multiple instruments and music styles which will open a much wider scope of music enjoyment to the student. Students build on their playing agility, ability to hear and identify, reading tablature and reading notation.
Adult Students
Whether you have never played before or have some skills already, if you have always wanted to take lessons and never had the opportunity till now this is the perfect setting to start. All of our lessons are one on one private lessons. You learn at your own pace on the style of music you enjoy. By ear, by tab or by musical notation.
Special Needs Students
Since all of our lessons are designed for the individual needs of the student this is the perfect way to provide success and boost the self esteem of the special needs student whom often require a modified learning program to achieve their ultimate goal.
